Echo trees
Two trees converse through light. The end of one year and the beginning of the next resonate, creating a poetic artwork of light and sound in which the past and future intersect. The ambient sounds were created by up-and-coming composer Idei Natsuki.
-
Twin Trees
The area's connection to water, with its former lakes and water purification plant, led to the creation of the piece "Koi Benten," which is based on the image of Benten. The two camphor trees that have watched over the area together with Koi Benten since the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building was built are lit up.
